Welcome to Washington Township High School, the largest High School in Gloucester County, where our rich history in the community and our proud tradition of excellence has provided students a high quality education since 1965.  Home to over 2100 students, WTHS is a place in which students are able to learn, to grow, and to become responsible citizens who appreciate their country and their community.

At WTHS, we are dedicated to offering our students a wide variety of academics, but also over 100 clubs/activities, volunteer opportunities, and an array of sports!  Students are able to pursue their academic goals while enriching their lives through a large number of extra-curricular opportunities that are available to everyone.  Our talented teachers, staff, and administrators are committed to providing excellence in every facet of our students' lives here at WTHS.  We provide a robust curriculum including a variety of Advanced Placement (AP) courses in which over half of our high school students enroll in at least one of the 25+ AP courses during their high school career, with a high percentage scoring a 3 or higher!  Many of our students have pursued their love for World Languages in French, German, and Spanish to a level of proficiency by earning the coveted Seal of Biliteracy from the New Jersey Department of Education.  Our exceptional Performing Arts program has received numerous awards and recognition for our theatrical and musical programs.  WTHS is also the home of the Republic Bank Performing Arts Center, a 2,500 seat venue that hosts various school and community events as well as concerts and performances.  Washington Township High School also offers a diverse and comprehensive athletic program, featuring over 30 sports across all seasons. The program has a proud tradition of excellence, highlighted by 31 State Championships, 59 Sectional Championships, and 136 Conference Championships.

Thank you for your continued support of WTHS.

Sincerely,

Principal Anderson
