What is the Asian American Club? The Asian American club is for all students who are interested in the various cultures of Asia! In our meetings, we like to explore and dive into different countries within Asia, watch shows or films that represent Asian cultures and artists, try to teach each other a bit of Asian languages, as well cook and eat food from the delicious countries of Asia. We wish to create a genuine community between the Asian Americans in our school, as well as taking pride in who we are. We hope to inform you culturally more about each other's culture and to make many new memories! Some activities that we get to enjoy are:
- Show and tell based on cultural artifacts
- Cultural rep day
- Taste testing Asian snacks and food
- Asian art day
- Lucky pot with a variety of Asian cuisines
Do you have to be Asian to join?
NO! Everyone is welcome to join our club!
How do I join?
We’re always looking for new members! If you are interested in joining the Asian American club, email Ms. Monaco at JMonaco@wtps.org or check us out on Instagram @aacwths . We always post info and updates about our club as well as when we are meeting.
