Washington Township High School Students Participate in “Build Like a Girl” Trades Day

WTHS students took part in Build Like a Girl Trades Day.
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Eight students from the Washington Township High School Engineering Academy and engineering courses attended the “Build Like a Girl” Trades Day field trip on May 1st hosted by Aspire Youth, in partnership with the Associated Builders & Contractors of New Jersey.
The students, accompanied by their Engineering teacher, Patrick Goliszewski, and Supervisor of Science and Technology Education Jillian Barnes, participated in hands-on activities and discussions designed to introduce the girls to careers in the trades industry.
Participating from WTHS were: Sydney Caffrey, Morgan Weist, Rori Collins, Maliya Lightfoot, Layla Chain, Mackenzi Cerchiaro, Maggie Petrelli, and Felicity Hayes.
