Washington Township High School Senior Jeremy Engber Receives Bob Frampton Artisan Award

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – On Friday, June 18, 2026, Washington Township High School Executive Principal Anderson and District Supervisor of Visual and Performing Arts and World Languages Casey Corigliano presented WTHS Class of 2026 member Jeremy Engber with the Bob Frampton Artisan Award. 

Bob Frampton was the former Visual and Performing Arts supervisor who served the Washington Township Schools for more than 20 years. He was a humble leader who did many things behind the scenes to promote and advocate for the arts, including the development of many arts opportunities in the district that still exist today. Through the sponsorship of the Music & Arts Company, the Bob Frampton Artisan Award is given to a senior who best exemplifies those characteristics of Mr. Frampton. 

During his time at WTHS, Engber was a member of several different performing ensembles, including the band and chorus. Additionally, he served as an executive board member for the Tri-M Music Honors Society. He took on a new role in that organization this year as “site host,” where he was responsible for the various stage setups used at our district's concerts throughout the year. In that role, he led a team of his peers working closely with VPA department teachers to ensure all students had what they needed to be successful performers. 

“Jeremy is most deserving of this recognition for this dedication to the VPA department during his time at WTHS,” Corigliano said. “He was always willing to pitch in, share ideas, and do the heavy lifting necessary to support our teachers and his peers. It has been a true pleasure working with him and I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.” 

In a small, humble ceremony (in the spirit of Mr. Frampton), Engber was presented his award and his name was added to the plaque permanently affixed to the mural created in Mr. Frampton's honor at the WTHS Core building. Engber will attend Indiana University in the fall to study Sports Media.
